Oh my Spike! The way he swallows his tears and stares blankly at first, as if not sure the boy has to see the truth. But this is Spike! And if there’s one thing Spike is not, it’s a coward. So he looks up and the emotions there can just kill you. Because his eyes are so open and so clear. They ‘yes’ with such certainty it takes your breath away.
